On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Engineer Heja Mohammed Taufiq, Deputy Director of the Independent Administration of Zakho for Technical Affairs, visited Zakho University with the purpose of extending congratulations to Dr. Diyar Abdulkareem Saeed on his appointment as the new president of the University of Zakho.

During the meeting, along with extending congratulations, Engineer Heja Mohammed Taufiq expressed his best wishes for success to the new president of the University of Zakho. He also affirmed his readiness to cooperate and provide support in media and communication efforts.

A visit was conducted to the international conference hall and exhibition center project to see the progress and quality of work on the projects within the University of Zakho Campus. The visit assessed the work carried out over the past two months, as well as the ongoing phases of construction.
